Want to progressively grow? Do this first.
When creating a reality that best supports you, it's important to give yourself the necessary time to recharge first. Especially after an intense period.
This week I’ve been buzzing a lot around here. And it’s been interesting to see how all of this is unfolding. It wasn’t how I planned, and I can now see that it might just be like this for a while.
Since I started connecting to what June is unveiling, the experience hasn’t been linear.
A lot of back and forth, new ideas that would emerging in the middle of the night, editing the Podcast episodes multiple times. The message wasn’t being received all at one sit, as it usually happens. It’s progressively being built, at the same time that it’s being restructured and reorganized.
And that’s when I realized, this wasn’t by chance. All I’ve been experiencing is a sample, let’s say, of what this month will ask of us: constant adjustment while progressively growing.
If you’ve been following the last posts and episodes, you’ll notice me talking a lot about having realizations. But honestly, these past weeks have been really interesting to experience. And this isn’t happening only to me. Iv’e been having different feedback on all the clicks and shifts in perspective people are experiencing too.
As messy as it may sound, along the way, you feel as if things are falling into place more than falling out. As if you’re being pointed to the solutions and answers for what you’re looking to resolve, not getting trapped in confusion.
But in order for you to be clear about what you want and what will really work for your schedule and routine, you will need first to experience it, understanding through action, how the situations make you feel. And the best thing is, the answers will find you at the exact time and place you need them.
That’s why, even thought it may look somewhat acute, in the end it will be like an intensive course - you will learn a lot of content in a short period of time, and walk out of this moment with a clearer understanding of your routine and how you want your day-to-day life to be.
That’s why creating a reality that will support you is so important now more than ever.
When you know you have your life structured in a way that works for you, it becomes easier to reroute when unforeseen events come your way.
You don’t feel lost, disoriented. You feel focused, grounded, because you already know what will continue to serve you and what won’t, being able to find practical solutions - in a realistic way.
It is not about rushing through your schedule, always concerned about the ‘next thing’ - the next appointment, the next client, the next business idea, the next job, the next book to read, the next… the next.. the next.
At this moment we’re under an energy that is asking us to trust the timing of life and slow things down. Patience will be our biggest ally. And that’s what’s so beautiful about it all, because at a steady pace, consistently working on what truly supports you, you will still progress.
You’ll be in an expansion mode, but by trusting the natural rhythm of your reality, following a routine that works for you and doesn’t feel chaotic.
You’re probably laughing at me at this point, thinking I must be crazy or saying something like “if you were in my shoes for a single day, you’d see how impossible this is ”.
I know, that’s exactly how I felt until last week. Let me tell you a personal story:
I’m about to step into the most exciting adventure of my life.
Now is still not the time for me to open up about all that is coming, but it’s huge - for me and my family.
So my husband carefully came to talk to me one day, saying that the rhythm I’m currently in, with my business, the podcast and all I’m trying to create, will not match this new phase we’re about to embrace.
My first reaction was to deny it.
This was coming from a place of love, but still it was unimaginable to me to think that I would have to slow my rhythm down, exactly when I’m trying to speed things up into growth.
So I said, “No, I can’t. Impossible.”
I honestly couldn’t see a way out.
He respectfully gave me space - he knows how I operate.
In my mind, there was no other way to do this. And that’s the exact moment when we can see the first sign of being stuck - when we can’t see a way out of our own reality.
We always have options!
It wasn’t until last week - when working with what would become this week’s episode and all it was inviting us to review, especially about our routine - that I literally felt, in my heart, the confirmation and certainty that indeed my current reality will not fit my soon-to-be one.
I paused, sat with that new information and, upon understanding this new idea, my body instantly relaxed.
I was telling myself a story, feeding this internal narrative that I had to go above and beyond to make everything work.
There are moments in life when we do need to stretch our limits a little, as long as it’s for a short period of time. But this wasn’t being temporary for me. It was slowly becoming my new reality, and we all know by now that this is not sustainable. Not without losing important aspects of life.
This is definitely something I don’t want to see happening - not to me, not to my family.
And I’m profoundly grateful for what the messages have been bringing - I’m also following along, observing and learning from everything that is coming.
I mentioned, in this week’s episode, that some changes will happen in the Podcast, but I’m still in the initial phase of understanding exactly what it will look like. And when the time is right, I will most certainly share everything with you.
For now, have this honest conversation with yourself, just like the one I had with myself, and reevaluate your life.
Where does it need adjustment?
Try the Wheel of Life exercise, from last week’s episode. This one is so powerful! Really. I’m receiving so much positive feedbacks about it. Truly. It’s here for you.
Options! We always have options.
The moment you find yourself thinking otherwise, know you’re stuck in your own mind. And we all experience that in one way or another, multiple times throughout life.
But upon learning this about yourself, upon realizing it, you learn to bounce back much quicker and find alternatives that suit your life.
Right now, it’s about honouring a consistent rhythm while still evolving. Not by forcing an outcome, but by simply understanding what is realistically possible to manage, create and resolve, without burning yourself out.
Because it will be intense, yes, and that’s why balance and routine will be sooooooooo important now.
It will give you a sense of stability in the midst of an intense moment. Not to destabilize you, but to help you grow!
It’s action time with self-care.
If you’d like to know more about what the month of June holds, take a look at this article - When personal freedom isn’t just a goal.
If you’d like to listen to this week’s episode, to understand more about all I’m sharing today, here is where you can find it - How to have freedom with structure.
And if the word freedom caught your attention, it’s not by chance.
It’s time to fully understand what personal freedom means to you. There’s an activity I suggest in this week’s guided inner journey, in the above mentioned episode, that can help you dive deeper into it.
Give your nervous system a reset
This week we’re having the chance to recalibrate.
Taking a pause to breathe after an intense period is very much needed and necessary. May had a different intensity from what June will bring, but still, moments of pause and recharge are truly important.
It’s time to do what nurtures us in a meaningful way, helping our nervous system reset.
I love to see how everything is so perfectly aligned.
A month ago I enrolled in a workshop called Sacred Cabin Gathering - not knowing it would fall perfectly in a week like this, when we need to pause and recharge.
So I invite you to look for these kinds of opportunities around you too, or create one for yourself. It doesn’t have to be complicated.
Here are some ideas for you to explore:
Look into meetup apps and see if there’s any event happening near you - the goal is to recharge replenish your energy.
Enrol in a yoga class.
Go for a walk in nature.
Work with a massage therapist.
Emerge your feet in fresh and current waters. Or maybe immerse them in warm water and Epson salt.
Go all in! Take an immersion bath with your favourite herbs and scents.
Move your body and help it ground - try this.
Connect with your crystals.
Do something that truly helps you recalibrate!
