Who were you before the world told you who to be?
It's time to wake up.
Monday morning.
I take the kids to school and sit down to have a moment for myself. The silence in the house is music to my ears. For a minute, I take the quietness of my surroundings in. It helps regulate and calm down the early adrenaline rush.
While I prepare breakfast, I listen to the Daily Frequency, a curated message I receive every weekday in my Human Design school.
In between the lines, the core message was about how change is leading the way through what we are experiencing in all areas of life, on a larger and smaller scale. This is a moment of heat. Politically, economically, socially - the norms are changing. We are feeling, sensing, and seeing an immense shift in how we translate life. What once was taken top down is now being questioned because it’s no longer sustainable. We are feeling the need to bring forward not only a new way of thinking, but a new way of living — one that feels more in alignment with health, collaboration, respect and our needs as individuals.
As I finish listening to this message I sit down to eat and hit play on another app, now to listen to the week’s astrology forecast. Every week they pick a tarot card that better represent the week’s main energy, and this time it was Judgment. As I listened to the message it sounded familiar. It felt as if it was coming from the same source.
So I finish listening to the podcast and switch from preparation mode to carry on with my day. Eventually, I take a moment to work on my initial Welcome post here on Substack. I felt a calling to connect and received a message from my Guides. My post wasn’t just about what I wanted to say. I was being asked to write about what was being presented to me. So I put my head down and allow the energy to flow through my hands.
The message, as you can see in the article, talks about past experiences that are now coming to the surface. What was once hidden and locked in the dark corners of our Souls, scared to come to the light, is now being called upon to be revealed. Not to the outer world, but to our own consciousness.
The day goes by. Life happens.
Late at night, I decide to end my day by reading a beautiful book a dear friend lent me over the weekend. Because of its artistic imagery, she thought I would enjoy not only the content but also delight myself in the beautiful drawings it illustrates. By now, I should have suspected… the Universe was finding its ways to present me with something I needed to see.
The book talks about the pagan seasons of the year, or sabbaths — how Nature is constantly reminding us about life’s cycles and how it reflects our own inner cycles.
And one passage got my attention:
“Our Ancestors believed with utter certainty that we are all part of the eternal cycle of nature: Life - Death - Life - Death - Life… In the same way, like trees and plants, all living and dead creatures are part of the eternal wheel of Rebirth - Germination - Growth - Fruit - Death - Rebirth..”
The message was everywhere! Synchronicity at its core!
Every single one of these different platforms, as well as the message I received, carried the same theme: rebirth!
In 2027, we’ll be entering a New Era: the Era of the Sleeping Phoenix. And this week we just entered the Year of the Fire Horse.
Did you notice the common denominator here? The element is FIRE! It burns. And it’s not an energy that only transforms — it’s about transmutation. It’s about rebirth. For the new to enter, the old needs to exit.
It’s no coincidence that we are ending the Year of the Snake, shedding a skin that takes with it what we don’t want to continue carrying, feeding, or seeing present in our lives.
Fire sparks creativity! New ideas. New ways of thinking. We are being invited to pay attention to all that is happening and look for new ways in basically everything: new solutions, new strategies, new communication styles, new partnerships and alliances, new paths, new ways of understanding what it is to exercise our humanity.
2025 was intense, and it will continue to be because we need to purge what’s intoxicating us. And this takes time. We need to work on what’s deregulating our bodies and our health — mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and socially. Yes, our social health is also sick.
This is a moment of spiritual awakening, but what it means is nothing else than us breaking free from a state of victimhood to consciously and actively choose between what serves us, individually and collectively, and what doesn’t. We are breaking free from the predominance of a masculine energy, that oppresses, controls, blames and pushes us to exhaustion, to enhance our feminine energy, that nurtures, cares, creates and together achieve balance! Action is not only important but necessary. That’s how we evolve. But when lived at its extreme it burns us out! Masculine and Feminine are two energies that need to coexist in equilibrium! Not in dominance. But before we do anything we need to first become!
The movement is already happening. Slowly. We are starting to question and change outdated paradigms. We are even shifting how we look at education! This is a system that has kept the same format for hundreds and hundreds of years. And still does. But now, so many people are changing their lifestyles completely and betting on something not only new but unconventional. Have you seen the huge homeschooling, worldschooling and unschooling movement that’s happening all around the globe?
The difference is in the meaning people are attaching to this movement. They are looking at what impacts not only at an individual level, but also their families and communities.
I’m not saying this is the answer for everyone. This is exactly the systematic pattern we are breaking: the “one-size-fits-all” formula. Not everything is for everyone. We are unique beings. We each carry a unique design. We want what’s real while preserving our uniqueness, not through massive replication. We are not robots!
But it’s by starting movements like this that we change our perspective and, consequently, our systems. And it’s already happening.
Among so many areas, another part of our lives asking for a more in-depth evaluation is the real necessity for so much consumption. Nowadays, everything is meant not to last. And so it creates a new internal belief system: that everything else is disposable. This doesn’t happen on a conscious level. It’s an unconscious, automated reprogramming of our minds. Relationships become disposable — our manners, our empathy, people, jobs, society. We start to detach from what makes us human in the first place: caring for each other.
And in addition to this vicious cycle of dissociation from a more real and meaningful life, the vault in which we stored our consumerism had a very expensive maintenance fee: our health. And only now, after years of investment, are we truly paying the price for what we bought. It’s the cherry on top of the cake: burnout, depression, loss of meaning and purpose in life, loneliness, anxiety, panic attacks, substance abuse, relationship disruptions — and the list goes on.
This internal gap isn’t what needs healing. This absence is part of what constitutes us as humans. It’s what feeds our drive for evolution. It’s the very essence of our existence. But we’re made to believe there’s something wrong with us, that we’re broken — and that we need to fill this gap by consuming things, ideas, and beliefs that aren’t necessarily aligned with our values. But things don’t heal feelings. Real connection does.
It’s time to wake up from a long period of living in autopilot mode, like somnambulists who work to sustain a society of extremes — keeping only a small minority in power at the expense of the lives of the masses. They root their power in fear, making people believe there’s no other way of living so they can sustain their own.
No more!!
Every ending is the announcement of a new beginning. If this is the apocalypse, as some premonitions are saying, let it all burn — not to bring chaos, but so we can be reborn from the ashes of what no longer serves us. Let’s wake up and be guided by the energy of the Sleeping Phoenix and start a more meaningful, present, and new way of living — one that is built in alliance, not dissonance.
We are now ending a 400-year Era of Planning and entering the Era of the Individual — an era of individual empowerment, self-sufficiency, and authenticity. It’s time for personal awakening, creative renewal, self-trust, and rising from within.
Things are intense and heavy right now. And we will need to walk through the fire in order to get out of it. But in order to go past this moment, we need to keep our vision of what it is that we want to build — or better said: rebuild! We cannot allow fear to feed our minds or our energy. We need to believe in our own power.
When we connect to fear we see everything around us through those lenses. As scary as this moment can be, and even if things get worse, now is the time to work on what we can control: our minds, our bodies and our energy. They are directly interconnected.
Everything vibrates. Our energetic fields connect us to our world. What we sense from our environment — the vibrations from everything present in our lives — directly affects not only our consciousness but our own energetic frequency. Everything in the Universe constantly emits an energy pattern at a specific level of vibration: people, plants, animals, places, music, belief systems, etc. We are connected to everything.
So the question here is: what are you surrounding yourself with?
What is the quality of your relationships? What conversations do you have? What are the beliefs those around you share? Are they based on fear, conflict, or support, collaboration and progress through kindness?
What music do you listen to? Have you paid attention to the lyrics? What do they talk about?
How is your home? Clean, in place, disorganized? It’s not about living in a model home. It’s about maintenance, organization, health.
What do you eat? We need to be more aware of what we bring in that creates a healthy lifestyle, be it food for the body, food for the mind or food for the Soul.
We are constantly feeding ourselves one way or another. We need to become more conscious of our sources and choices.
This week’s message in the ALMA VIA Podcast - my private podcast where I share weekly messages received from our Spiritual guides to get ready for our week - shows us exactly that: the importance of understanding that what creates a sense of rigidity and limitation is first cultivated in the mind. And if what affects the mind is what shapes our decision-making process, we need to remove ourselves from what’s intoxicating us.
We have choices! We can consciously choose what energy we want to connect with! We can choose between being a victim or taking action.
This is not about fight! This is about transformation. Conscious decisions. Being fully awake, being present to consciously discern and choose what serves us individually but also understanding that our choices also affect our reality collectively. It’s about “we”, not “me”.
So, I leave you with these thoughts:
How are you entering this new Era? What old patterns are you breaking free of and leaving behind? Who were you before the world told you who to be?
Let’s wake up to a more conscious, present and healthy way of living. Let’s vibrate from a frequency of Love, Peace, and Joy and consciously bring that to our days!
Our vibes speak louder than our words.
Be well!
