Moving through clarity when life throws you a curveball
When a storm approaches, it's better to get your $%# together before taking the next step. - When is the right time to act? How to find clarity in the midst of a turbulent moment?
Hello beautiful soul!
As you can see, things have been looking a little different lately. I’ve been testing different ways to bring the message to you, trying to understand what style of posting has a better user experience, and look & feel.
So bear with me, because I learn from doing, not simply thinking things through. And taking action on my ideas is what helps me get clear on what I need. And today, more than ever, you will understand this with what’s coming through the message.
What’s different today?
Today’s episode is embedded in this post. If you’d like to jump right into it, go ahead and click the link below to directly access it!
But know that this article contains a little more information than what’s shared in the audio. And the supporting oracle card that came today, says it all! Take a look. It’s right at the end.
OR
If you prefer to read, instead of listening, the first part of the message brought in the Podcast is included below. Here, in this post, I share the intuitive message for the week - right at the beginning - and also some extra guidance and further discussion to help us expand our thinking. But that second part is not included in the audio.
I’m trying to give you different ways to navigate this experience, trying to keep the podcast more straight to the point and using Substack to explore more on the topic.
But here is an important note for the readers:
The guided inner journey you can only find in the audio. This is something to be fully experienced, not read. But don’t worry, at the end of this post I explain exactly at what point of the audio you can connect directly to the inner journey.
Let me know what you think of this approach, please! Honest and supportive feedback is always welcome! It has to work both ways, right!? - Right.
Now it’s time to dive into the message. Enjoy your experience!
Message for the week of May 19th to 25th
I hate to start a post like this, but the truth is, this week won’t feel easy.
As I’m connecting to the cards, I’m feeling my chest tightening, and this sensation is here to tell me something. The energy present is intense, no doubt. I don’t mean to get you worried or anxious. My work is intuitive, and what my body senses is also part of the reading, helping me connect to the emotion and work with it, not around it.
Last week, some unresolved situation, maybe something from your past, entered your life again, seeking resolution.
I’m not sure if what you’ll be facing this week is directly related to that circumstance, but the message is clear, there’s conflict in the air.
So you will need to feel your emotions, even if it gets uncomfortable. That’s how you will move through this week, feeling what hurts, learning from it, and coming out the other side stronger, wiser, and healed - physically and emotionally.
Physical and emotional disharmony can be a reflection of how your inner or outer world has been out of alignment. Something needs to be adjusted, talked through, or find a common ground.
And this time you’re being called to handle whatever happens by focusing on your wellbeing first, and in a practical way. And that’s exactly what we will do today in the guided inner journey!
How do the cards translate the events?
This week we have one card from the Gods, Goddesses and Guides oracle, by Sophie Bashford, and two from the Lunar Tarot, by Jayne Wallace.
Persephone, a Greek maiden goddess, also known as the Queen of the Dead, after being captured by the King of the underworld, Hades, promised to stay six months of each year underground. Every Spring she would come out, opening the flowers and blessing the crops. She symbolizes the death-life cycle, guiding you to light after experiencing darkness.
Upon her presence, you know that a period of exhaustion, fear and hiding in dark feelings, is near. But once you cross that path, you will enter a phase of new beginnings. It makes sense to think that upon working on a difficult situation, mentally and emotionally, and giving it resolution, you will start fresh, anew, because the decision made now defines the tone under which you will conduct your life.
The cards that follow Persephone’s confirm how this moment will be felt.
The 2 of Swords and the King of Wands show that you will feel stuck in the middle of an unpleasant reality, and will experience it deeply. Maybe lost, indecisive, possibly hurt. But it is through embodying a sense of leadership toward your own life, that you will creatively come up with strategies that effectively support you.
You may feel blocked in your own emotions, uncertain about the next move, the next step to take to get you out of it. But an important decision is to be made, even if it’s a very difficult one, and once done, things will start to fall into place again.
Dismissing your feelings, or intensifying them by focusing only on what hurts, is only going to bring in more hurt.
You will need to make space for your feelings to be really felt, not simply rationalize a solution. Work with them, be present to truly understand what this moment is trying to teach you, because only then will you be clear about the right direction to take.
Action is a masculine energy, and the King of Wands is a bold leader, a creative master, inspiring those around him to be their very best. One of his biggest assets is to combine creative thinking with practical doing. He is fierce, and won’t give up until he gets what he wants.
This is the energy you’re being called to tap into. Looking beyond the tricky situation at hand, connecting mind, body and soul, to find a way out through healing, not through force or confrontation. You will push your reality through by being smart, creative, looking for ways to support you first.
You don’t react, you act from a place of presence, embodying clarity.
But taking action can mean different things.
The right time to act on a decision
Your interaction with the world around you happens in three layers.
First, there’s a thought, a rational perception of what’s happening to you. The idea or notion of the situation at hand. Once you have a clear picture of it in your mind, you then experience a bodily sensation related to the event. All this happens in a split second. It’s not conscious.
After your body feels, it instantly starts to connect you to an emotion. You physically feel what the circumstance means to you. Upon feeling, you’re triggered — positively or not — getting emotionally charged, and that’s when you have the drive to act.
But here is the catch. Taking action doesn’t necessarily mean doing something directly involved to the situation right away.
Many are the moments when getting a clear understanding of your emotions first is the best move you can make, regulating your nervous system to think more clearly and then deciding on how to handle the circumstance.
Life is made of inspirational and challenging moments, both to help you transcend in your capabilities and exercise your inner power and strength.
But let’s be honest! We are all learning, so we will stumble on our own feet, multiple times, acting too fast, not thinking properly before making the first move. And this week, my friend, the message is clear: be the leader of your life, the one who inspires by example, thinking in a practical but also creative way, to take the right action.
At least, let’s try!
It sounds great on paper - actually, on screen. And like my three-year-old daughter likes to say: “Really mom? For real life?” Well, in real life, we all know it’s not that easy.
But one thing is for sure, our body knows how to heal. And what directly contributes — for better or for worse — is what we feed our mind with.
What and how we think has a direct impact on our physical being. When we stay stuck in a pattern or mentality that makes us sick, we won’t heal. We won’t find a solution, because the energetic frequency we emanate attracts like energy. We will end up attracting more pain, more sorrow and suffering, through situations and relationships. But the opposite is also true!
Let me share with you a personal story:
Winters in Canada are long. I mean, too looooooong for my taste. I don’t mind the cold, but I do mind how long it lasts. With a 2 and 6 year-olds to entertain, you get to a point where you start questioning your sanity, running out of ideas on how to get their energy out, especially when staying outdoors can’t be longer than a couple of hours — at least for me.
Autumn was already hitting below zero degrees and my kids started to get sick around mid December. We traveled right before the New Year with my husband throwing his stomach out the night before, my daughter on the day of our travel, myself the next day, and thank God my son escaped this one.
But the following week, as soon as we returned from our trip, he got strep. And the moment he got better, my daughter got the flu.
A week later, I finally had them both out of the house, attending to our regular schedule again, only to have my son coming home 2 days later complaining his hands were itchy. Well, the next day we found out what was causing it. He had gotten Foot, Hand, Mouth.
We were able to manage both our kids to be safely distant from each other, avoiding my two-year old from catching that virus. My son was suffering deeply from it. One was already too much to handle.
10 days later, he was finally free from the disease, and ready to return to school. Finally a breather… ahhhhhh!! But wait, not for long! 2 days later my husband came home feeling completely drained. Here comes another virus.
For everyone close, who would ask how we were doing, I would say: “Can you believe we’ve been sick since December, without a break? Every single week one of us gets sick.”
And that sentence became almost a mantra. We were constantly repeating it, answering every “How are you doing?” question with it.
It wasn't until early May - yep you read it right, May!! - week after week of taking turns and constantly repeating that same sentence, that one night, exhausted from all that we were enduring for all these months, while talking to my husband, I realized that we were stuck in a frequency we’ve been consciously repeating to ourselves, over and over. We were literally manifesting our reality.
In that moment I made a decision, and looked at my husband with such conviction that I left him with no choice but to really embody that new mentality. I said to him “From now on we only say - I can’t believe how healthy we are. That’s it.” And guess what - no one got sick from that day on.
You get what I’m trying to show you, don’t you?
We bring in what we put out. We attract the same energy quality that we emanate.
But look, judgement free zone here! I like to look at life as my science lab, where I test things, see what comes out as a result, learn from it and move on. Perfection is faaaaaaarrr from who I am or want to be. If I was perfect, life would be too boring. There would be nothing else to learn. Everything would be perfectly perfect. I can’t live like that. Can you?
So let’s take the guidance we’re receiving and test it, seeing what resonates, what works and what doesn’t.
This week, by embodying a more practical way of looking at life, not giving in to negative thoughts and emotions, will keep you from being dragged down and frozen in victimhood. — Well, not only this week, that’s a mindset you should carry for life, but you get what I’m saying.
It’s about putting your needs first, prioritizing your health, your well-being, taking good care of your mind, your body, and your spirit by nourishing them; treating yourself with respect, listening to your soul and understanding what you truly want. (That counts for life, right?)
Do what’s possible, but make an effort to really help yourself. Don’t drink your coffee standing or driving. Give yourself 5 minutes. Don’t skip lunch to do extra work. Nourish your body first and your brain will follow. Laundry is piling up? Do a portion, not the entire load. Or at least prioritize the clothes that you need.
But don’t overload yourself thinking you have to take care of everything. Take a pause during the day. An intentional 15 minutes break can go a long way. Feel what your body needs. Maybe it’s to lie down, or a good stretch, bringing movement in. Sometimes I like to step outside, breathe fresh air, look at nature and then come back.
Seek support, mentally and physically. Talk to someone you trust, that can help you sort things out and find clarity.
But don’t forget to also help your body move the energy it’s carrying.
Take a walk
Walk barefoot — grounding yourself
Dance and sing out loud
Exercise
Look for ways to exchange energy with nature and bring in healing.
Working with a massage therapist, doing breath or body work, can be really beneficial too, helping you release what you’re holding in. Your goal is to move energy in and out of your body.
But remember, this week’s advice is to be practical, so don’t overthink or complicate it.
Go with what feels safe, comfortable and manageable for you to bring your body to movement and find clarity within, not because you know, but because you feel it!
The important thing to keep in mind is the release of intense energy, not allowing it to get stuck inside, because that’s what leads to sickness.
Body and energy connection
Our body is a combination of over 50 trillion cells, and they operate not only from what physically constitutes them, but especially from the energy field involving them. When you release the energy stored in your body, you’re recalibrating it at a cellular level.
What’s present around you has a direct influence on your physical being: the food you eat, the songs you listen to, the conversations you have, what you read, the environment you’re in, it all has a profound impact on you.
You can only truly heal once you release what is weighing your body down - physically and energetically.
So today we will work with our bodies. We will connect to the forces of nature to help us truly release stagnant energy, pushing it out of our physical temple, to help us move through this week feeling empowered, focused, thinking clearly, to deal with whatever challenge we face in a practical manner.
We will not meditate or go on a hypnotic journey. We will move. We will activate our cells.
We will give our emotions an outlet, not only mentally, but physically. We already know that physical exercise is very beneficial because it gets us moving, but we also need to intentionally move the emotional energy charging our bodies. There’s a very specific goal behind this.
But before we start, I invite you to find a safe space, somewhere you can freely move, stretching your arms, elongating your legs, in a private way, where you can be yourself, not worrying about looking weird or silly - we can look whatever way we feel like, because this is a judgement-free zone.
Just find your safe space to fully RESTORE and hit play!
If you read everything up to this point, and would like to jump right into the exercise, fast forward the audio to 11’56”.
Or you can listen to the full message and see if further insights come for you. Go with what feels right.
But before you leave…
An extra dose of inspiration and guidance
I like to end the posts with an extra dose of inspiration and guidance. And my mouth always drops with the cards that come, because they couldn’t be more in alignment with the messages, even if I hand picked them myself.
Look at what came today.
There is a storm brewing in the horizon and it’s headed straight for you. When this card appears in a reading you can expect massive change, upheaval, or complete shock that throws you off your game. Such changes could be significant, like an unexpected divorce, losing a job, financial ruin, or loss of where you call home. Ultimately these changes will bring about something positive although it may not seem that way at first. The Universe is only taking away the things that have been holding you back, giving you a false sense of security and shelter. When the storm clears, you will find clarity and the tools needed to rebuild, becoming stronger.

What the heck is going to happen this week? OMG!
Maybe now you get why I started this post saying “I hate to start a post like this, but the truth is, this week won’t feel easy.”
I’m a little scared, I won’t lie, but I’m choosing to think that whatever comes will be here to help me get stronger, and that maybe this disruptive situation will happen inward more than out of my being, breaking me free from limiting beliefs that keep me stuck and feeling smaller. I will hold on to that and think positively, as much as I can, right?! LOL
I’m absolutely curious to see what this week holds for us.
But we will not cross our arms and passively wait. We will move, and we can start by moving some energy around, feeling more grounded to creatively carve the solutions and approaches we will use to cross this emotional bridge.
It’s time to hit play and listen to today’s episode - Moving through clarity.
Our vibes speak louder than our words.
Be well!
Love, Livia
What taking the next step can look like
If you need extra support to handle this tough moment, or other feelings and situations you’re navigating in this moment, I’m here to help.
My sessions are about 2hours in length, but I start connecting with your energy before we meet virtually, by intuitively receiving a message that will support what you need to work on and get clarity on.
Besides all that is done in anticipation of your presence, part of our session includes a guided inner journey through hypnosis. Look at it as a doorway into your subconscious, a space where insight can emerge and true healing can happen.
It will be my great pleasure to help you.
